Jakob is a PhD candidate in climate dynamics at UiB, working on the winter Arctic sea ice. In his PhD project, Jakob uses a combination of climate models and observations in order to understand which large-scale drivers influence the winter sea ice in the Barents Sea and the rest of the Arctic Ocean, now and in the future.
