The Nansen Legacy strives for a lasting impact and legacy of the data, competence and knowledge generated by the project.

To achieve this, the project has established a dedicated workstream to bridge work done in the various research foci and to secure a legacy of the data, publications, synthesis products, as well as through the education of a new generation of Arctic scientists.

Additionally, the impact of the project for society is ensured by dialogue with different user groups, liaison with national and international management and policy organizations, as well as dissemination of new facts and understanding to the wider public.
