Mohamed is a postdoctoral researcher at the University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS). His research focuses on sea level changes, sea surface temperature, and sea ice concentration variability and trends in the Barents Sea in the context of climate change, using in-situ observations and remote sensing data. He is also interested in air-sea-ice interactions and marine heatwaves in the Barents Sea
