I am interested in how stressors, particularly chemicals, affect marine organisms, predominantly fish. My main focus is on contaminant-specific effects that may lead to impacts on individual health or populations and environmental conditions that modulate such impacts. Further, I have also worked on how such responses can be implemented and used in environmental monitoring programmes, e.g. to monitor effects of oil spills and offshore oil and gas effluents.
