Benjamin Planque is a quantitative marine ecologist interested in understanding how different components of ecosystems interact with each other and how they are impacted by human activities and climate change. His current work involves the development of qualitative and quantitative food-web and socio-ecological models, the development of scenarios and the analysis of cumulative impacts in the Norwegian and Barents Seas. He develops quantitative tools to support integrated ecosystem assessments.
