Adam Steer
Postdoc/Alumnus, Sea ice dynamics
NPI
Adam was a postdoctoral researcher at the Norwegian Polar Institute. His work aimed to help understand sea ice structure and physical processes by mixing in situ observations and multiple scales / methods of remote sensing both above and below the ice. Adam worked on methods for observing the state of sea ice and its snow cover, using these to validate and refine larger scale observations by satellite, and then linked the state of sea ice to larger physical and ecological systems in the Barents Sea.
